From access to learning

South Sudan faces one of the world's most acute learning crises: many children who attend school leave without basic literacy or numeracy.

EFASS succeeds the Girls' Education South Sudan programmes. It shifts from a nationwide access model towards targeted learning recovery in 16 counties, and builds on the national systems GESS helped create rather than replacing them.

Read about EFASS
Which learning recovery approaches work best, for whom, and how can they be financed at scale? EFASS is built to answer that question.
